36th Issue of the Journal “Islam and Psychological Studies” Released

The 36th issue of the peer-reviewed quarterly Muṭāliʿāt-i Islām wa Rawān-shināsī (Islam and Psychological Studies, in Persian) has been published by the Research Institute for Ḥawza and University. The Spring 2025 issue was released under the editorship of Mohammad Kaviani.

Launched in 2007, the journal seeks to advance the field of Islamic psychology, promote scholarly exchange between the seminary (Ḥawza) and the university, and provide a platform for theory-building in this domain. It adheres to Iran’s national academic standards and follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.

Articles in this issue include:

  • Pathological Analysis of Addressing the Spiritual Needs of Spouses within the Framework of Qurʾān-Based Spiritual Health;
  • A Couple Therapy Model Based on Self-Regulation with an Islamic Approach;
  • The Effectiveness of Islamic Spiritual Group Therapy in Reducing Generalized Anxiety among Students;
  • The Conflict between Case-History in Psychotherapy and the Islamic View of Prohibition of Spying;
  • A Model of Religious Commitment Based on Attachment Style to God and Mental Image of God.
