The eighth volume of the distinguished series Salūnī Qabla ʾan Tafqidūnī: Taḥrīr-i Nahj al-Balāgha (Ask Me Before You Lose Me: A Commentary on Nahj al-Balāgha), authored by Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli, has been published in Persian by Isrāʾ Publication. Comprising 680 pages, this volume represents another contribution to the scholarly and ethical endeavors of this eminent professor, distinguished in both the Islamic seminary (Ḥawza) and the university, in interpreting and elucidating the sermons, letters, and wisdoms of Nahj al-Balāgha.
Drawing upon an academic register alongside an ethical-intellectual approach, Ayatollah Javadi Amoli revisits the teachings of Imam ʿAlī (a), clarifying the social, theological, and moral dimensions of Nahj al-Balāgha for contemporary readers. This work, by linking the scholarly tradition of jurisprudence (fiqh) and theology (kalām) with contemporary intellectual and ethical needs, provides researchers, professors, and students of humanities and Islamic sciences an opportunity to engage deeply with the messages of Nahj al-Balāgha.
