The inaugural issue of the biannual Journal of Pazhūhish-hāyi Fiqh-i Ijtimāʿī (Social Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence) Research, published in Persian) has been released, featuring six scholarly articles.
The journal is published by Baqir al-ʿUlum University, with Seyyed Ehsan Rafiei Alavi as managing director and Hasan Kheiri as editor-in-chief. Established in Spring 2025, the journal aims to generate literature and expand jurisprudential research related to society’s practical needs and social issues. Its scope includes the nature and issues of social jurisprudence, methodological approaches, contemporary and applied branches of fiqh, as well as the views of jurists and Islamic thinkers on social fiqh.
