33rd Issue of “Fundamental Research in the Humanities” Published

The 33rd issue of the peer-reviewed quarterly Taḥqīqāt-i Bunyādīn-i ʿUlūm-i Insānī (Fundamental Research in the Humanities) has been published in Persian. Founded in 2015 under the auspices of the Supreme Council of Islamic Humanities and published by the Sadra Islamic Humanities Research Center, the journal defines its mission as the production of knowledge in the domains of philosophy, methodology, and foundational theories of the humanities, with a critical stance toward prevailing paradigms and an emphasis on Islamic principles and epistemologies.

The editorial board, chaired by Ahmad Hossein Sharifi and composed of distinguished scholars from both the seminary and the university, directs the journal’s scholarly activities.

The latest issue features articles on topics such as,

  • Critique of Positivism from the Standpoint of Islamic Ontology and Its Role in Knowledge Production;
  • The Sociology of Knowledge in the Thought of Max Weber and Munīr al-Dīn Ḥusaynī;
  • Textual Holism in the Structure of Religious Epistemologies;
  • A Conceptual Model of the “Conventional Economic Man”;
  • The Educational Approach of Transhumanists and the Imperative of Foresight in This Domain.
