Vienna will host the International Seminar on Iranian-Islamic Civilization: Identity, Components, and Historical Splendor
on October 23, 2025.
The event is organized by the House of Wisdom – Iran, Vienna with the support of the Institute of Manuscript Heritage (Iran), the Iranology Foundation, and the Hafez and Hammer-Purgstall Cultural Association (Vienna).
Key seminar themes include:
- Persian language and literature;
- Architecture and artistic traditions;
- Historical milestones of Iranian-Islamic civilization;
- Cultural cohesion amid ethnic diversity;
- The interaction of tradition and innovation.
According to Reza Gholami, Iran’s Cultural Attaché in Austria, the seminar offers a valuable opportunity for scholars to present the spiritual and cultural richness of Iranian-Islamic heritage to an international audience.
