The second ceremony for selecting the “Seminary Researcher of the Year” (Seminary of Khorasan), together with the Seminary’s “Researchers’ Assembly,” will be held on Wednesday, January 1, 2026, organized by the Scientific Deputy of the Seminary of Khorasan at the Suleimanieh Seminary School in Mashhad.
The 20th Call for Research Works of the Seminary of Khorasan will take place simultaneously with the 2nd National Conference on Contemporary Achievements in Seminary Sciences, scheduled for December 16, 2025 (25 Azar 1404), also in Mashhad. This scientific event is designed to identify, honor, and support innovative research in the fields of Islamic and Islamic-oriented human sciences, and it is organized under the auspices of the CIVILICA and ISC academic platforms.
Conference themes cover a broad spectrum of Islamic and human sciences, including:
- Qurʾānic Exegesis and Qurʾānic Sciences;
- Ḥadīth Studies and Dirāya;
- Islamic Philosophy and Theology;
- Jurisprudence and Law;
- Ethics and Education;
- History of Islam and Shiʿism;
- Logic;
- Literature;
- Religious Humanities.
Researchers may submit their works in the form of books, articles, theses, research projects, or academic software.
Selected works will receive official academic certificates, recognition, publication in seminary journals, indexing in Civilica and ISC, and eligibility for national and international research awards.
The primary objectives of the conference are to promote scholarly dialogue among researchers, strengthen research culture among students, and advance knowledge production within seminary studies. Additionally, this event provides a platform for exchanging experiences and expanding academic collaborations, thereby elevating the status and quality of seminary research.
