The 4th International Nahj al-Balāgha Congress, titled “Path to Salvation: Nahj al-Balāgha and ʿAlawī Governance”, will be held in Isfahan on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at the Isfahan International Conference Hall.

Organized by the Nahj al-Balāgha Institute of Isfahan, this congress aims to explore the theoretical and practical dimensions of Nahj al-Balāgha in the domains of Islamic governance, politics, management, and social development.

According to Hujjat al-Islam Masoud Raee, Scientific Secretary of the Congress, nine specialized working groups are tasked with organizing pre-congress sessions, evaluating and reviewing submitted papers, coordinating with domestic and international specialists, and publishing the results in a volume of collected academic papers. He described ʿAlawī Governance as a comprehensive paradigm, grounded in the teachings of Imām ʿAlī (a), and characterized by public participation, transparency, accountability, and efficiency. This paradigm underscores the dynamic interaction among three principal pillars: the government, the people, and social institutions.

Hujjat al-Islam Ahmad Salek, Chairman of the Institute’s Board of Directors, emphasized that Nahj al-Balāgha provides both a theoretical and practical framework for administering society—from the family level to macro-level systems of governance. He further noted that the achievements of the previous three congresses have exerted a notable impact on executive institutions within Isfahan Province.

Pre-congress scholarly sessions in political, economic, cultural, and managerial fields will continue until February 19, 2026. To date, 70 papers have been submitted to the congress secretariat, and researchers, students, and interested scholars are invited to submit their contributions no later than November 6, 2025.
