The 26th issue of the peer-reviewed quarterly Religious Studies in Media (August 2025) has been published in Persian by the Faculty of Religion and Media, IRIB University. Established in 2019, the journal seeks to advance discourse and theory-building in the field of religion and media, with a focus on comparative, interdisciplinary, and critical studies of the interaction between religion and modern media, interactive media, and religious media arts.
Grounded in the significance of epistemological foundations and the relation of the humanities and communication studies to Islamic thought, the journal analyzes Western humanities and media communications with a comparative and interdisciplinary approach.
The current issue is published under the editorship of Dr. Kamal Akbari.
The editorial board includes Abbas Asadi, Kamal Akbari, Mohammadreza Borzoi, Seyed Mohammad Ali Dibaji, Siavash Salavatian, Ahmad Zabeti Jahromi, and Mohammad Gholi Minavandchal.
