Publication of the Inaugural Issue of the Biannual Ethics and Psychology

The first issue of the specialized biannual journal Ethics and Psychology (July 2025) has been published by Islamic Sciences and Culture Academy. With the aim of deepening ethical research through an interdisciplinary approach and clarifying the interconnections between morality and psychology, the journal provides an academic platform for both seminary and university scholars. The journal is published in Persian with English abstracts.

The current issue has been released under the editorship of Dr. Mahdi Alizadeh. The editorial board includes Hamid Maliki, Masood Azarbaijani, Mahdi Alizadeh, Masoud Janbozorgi, Abdollah Motamedi, Fatemeh Vojdani, Mansour Nasiri, Hasan Boosaliki, and Hamid Rafii Honar.

This issue features seven specialized articles that focus on the intersection of ethics and psychology, providing a fertile ground for scientific inquiry. Topics include:

  • Assessment in Moral Psychology: Challenges and Strategies for Resolution,
  • Moral Injury as a Treatment-Resistant Disorder and the Prospects of God-Centered Spiritual Therapies for Its Healing,
  • Ethics and Psychology: Relations and Interconnections,

  • Ethics and Psychology” by Calum Neill in the Context of Analysis and Critique.

As an open-access journal with online publication, Ethics and Psychology facilitates academic exchange and knowledge sharing in this interdisciplinary field.
