The Seventh International Conference on “Prophetic Tradition in Medicine” was held from November 18–20, 2025, hosted by Shiraz University of Medical Sciences. Established in 2013 and held biennially, this academic event has provided a platform for advancing scientific knowledge, promoting spiritual health, and disseminating ethical values.
The 2025 edition was organized around the theme of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and addressed three principal themes:
- Opportunities for applying AI to enhance spiritual health
- Challenges posed by AI in the domain of spiritual health
- The outlook of spiritual health in light of the development of AI
Scientific Program
The program featured:
- Eight specialized sessions in the fields of medical history, Islamic medicine, medical ethics, behavioral sciences, and religious studies
- Three training workshops
- Presentation of 119 papers in poster format, along with five selected papers delivered orally
The conference brought together faculty members from Duke University (USA) and researchers from Greece and Lebanon, creating opportunities for interdisciplinary dialogue and strengthening scientific collaboration.
