The book “The Ideal Ethical Society: Religious Strategies”, written by Hamed Poor Rostami, has been published in 288 pages by the Publication Organization of the Research Institute for Islamic Culture and Thought.
This work, emphasizing the principle that ethics—in its broad social sense—encompasses individuals, rulers, and society as a whole, all of whom play a fundamental role in its formation, seeks to delineate a clear roadmap for each of the actors within the realm of social ethics.
The book “The Ideal Ethical Society” introduces new approaches and strategies by depicting the gap between the existing condition and the desirable state of social ethics. In this regard, four key strategic programs for achieving the desired ethical society are examined:
- Individual strategies
- Participatory strategies
- Legislative strategies
- Executive strategies
This work was published at a time when one of the major challenges and discourses within Iranian-Islamic society concerns the lived experience of social ethics and the normative frameworks that confront it.
