The Second International Conference on “Religion, Culture, and Technology”, with a focus on cyberspace and artificial intelligence, will take place on May 4–7, 2026, hosted by Baqir al-Olum University in collaboration with Sharif University of Technology and the University of Tehran, and held in both Qom and Tehran.
This scholarly event is designed to examine new forms of interaction between religion, culture, and emerging technologies.
Main Focus of the Conference
The conference will concentrate on analyzing the impact of cyberspace and artificial intelligence on religious concepts, cultural patterns, and social structures.
The program provides a platform for intellectual exchange among researchers, technology specialists, and scholars in the humanities, enabling critical examination of the challenges and opportunities arising from the interrelation of religion and technology.
Call for Papers
The call for submissions will take place in two stages:
- Abstracts and innovative ideas due: December 21, 2025
- Full papers due: February 19, 2026
Accepted works will be presented in diverse academic and research formats, with international publication opportunities available for selected contributions.
